I apparently don't do this as annually as I thought.

  1. What did you do this year that you hadn't done before?

  2. Let's see: I collected unemployment, went to LA, went to Denver, did a bunch of stuff, then went back to sleep.
  3. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

  4. I didn't make any new year's resolutions last year. I'm unsure I'll do any different this year.
  5. Did anyone close to you give birth?

  6. Yes. A couple at church had their first child, a son.
  7. Did anyone close to you die?

  8. Yes. The man that founded my parish died.
  9. What countries did you visit?

  10. I didn't leave the country, but I did see myself out in Los Angeles and in Denver. Both were first time trips. Also, I was in Nac once and in Houston on a regular basis.
  11. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?

  12. Honestly? I don't know. A promotion would be nice, but then I'd simply have more money and nothing to do with it. I'd rather not collect unemployment again, though. For the record, I got most of what I wanted at this time last year: my job doesn't suck and pays better. It's still in Dallas, though.
  13. What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

  14. Well, there was the trip to LA on March 15, the bishop's funeral on September 1, and yet I think I might forget my sister's wedding on July 4.
  15. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

  16. I got a better job.
  17. What was your biggest failure?

  18. I still don't have much of a social life.
  19. Did you suffer illness or injury?

  20. Nothing major. I did get the flu, but that was nothing, really.
  21. What was the best thing you bought?

  22. I dunno. I didn't buy much this year.
  23. Whose behavior merited celebration?

  24. Nobody's.
  25. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?

  26. Nobody's.
  27. Where did most of your money go?

  28. Student loans. Rent. Living expenses.
  29. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

  30. PONIES!
  31. What song will always remind you of 2011?

  32. I have no idea. I really don't.
  33. Compared to this time last year, are you:

  34. i. happier or sadder? Neither, really.
ii. thinner or fatter? Neither, really.
iii. richer or poorer? Richer. But money isn't making me happy.
  35. What do you wish you'd done more of?

  36. If I had the answer to that question, I'd have done it.
  37. What do you wish you'd done less of?

  38. Sitting around in my apartment, doing nothing.
  39. How did you spend Christmas?

  40. Driving from Dallas to Houston.
  41. How will you be spending New Years?

  42. The same way I always spend New Year's. Trying to take over the world! Sitting at my parents' place.
  43. Did you fall in love in 2010?

  44. This kind of thing does not happen to me. I mean, seriously, come on.
  45. How many one-night stands?

  46. This kind of thing really does not happen to me. In fact, I don't understand how it happens to other people.
  47. What was your favorite TV program?

  48. OH DEAR GOD MY LITTLE PONY. Yeah, I didn't see that coming.
  49. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?

  50. Nope.
  51. What was the best book you read?

  52. As much time as I spent in the air, none of the books I read are really begging to get mentioned here.
  53. What was your greatest musical discovery?

  54. I didn't discover much music this year.
  55. What did you want and get?

  56. A boss that doesn't suck. Time to do things.
  57. What did you want and not get?

  58. Things to do with that time.
  59. What was your favorite film of this year?

  60. No film really speaks to me this year. Even the old films I watched just don't seem worthy of mention here.
  61. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?

  62. 27. My mom, aunt, and sister came to visit me. It wasn't as memorable as my sister's wedding, which was the next weekend.
  63. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?

  64. If I could have thought of something, I would have done it.
  65. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010?

  66. I started buttoning my shirts.
  67. What kept you together?

  68. Work. Church. But the rest of me is coming undone even worse.
  69. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?

  70. This would require interaction with celebrity culture, something I don't have.
  71. What political issue stirred you the most?

  72. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Politics is a distraction to keep you from realizing that you're getting screwed. I don't give a shit anymore.
  73. Who did you miss?

  74. I'm coming not to miss anyone. Absence makes the heart forget.
  75. Who was the best new person you met?

  76. I actually kind of like my current co-workers.
  77. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2011:

  78. I don't know, really.
  79. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:

  80. Nothing really sums that up nicely.
